Children's Ministries

We believe children are important to the life and health of our community here at Trinity. We believe our children are integral members of the body of Christ.
As teachers and guides for the spiritual formation of children, we understand we will be formed and changed for having taught them.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 AM
Sunday school always starts with music, beginning at 9:45 to 10 o’clock. We have two choirs, Trinity Children’s Chorale for Kindergarten through 3rd grade; this choir meets in the basement. Trinity Junior Chorale is for students in 4th grade through 12th, and meets in the choir room.

Children age 2 through 5th grade, meet upstairs in the main building. Grades 6-8  and grades 9-12 meet  in Trinity House, the gray house across the church parking lot.

We invite all children to join with us each Sunday morning during the education hour to experience the presence of God. Led by mentors and teachers who delight in sharing their understanding of faith, the children of Trinity are encouraged to express their wonder and feel free to ask their questions.

We use the Episcopal Children’s Curriculum, which was developed by Episcopalians for Episcopalians. The ECC’s goal is to assist all participants in living out the covenant made in Holy Baptism, and is designed to give children the language and skills needed for a lifelong spiritual journey.

This is a rewarding ministry, helping our children experience the love of God within the church community, learning about our faith and church and having fun.

Vacation Bible School

Already planning your summer vacation? Well, so are we!

We are excited to share with you, that this year Vacation Bible School will be taking a journey to Ancient Egypt, to follow in the footsteps of Joseph. We’ll be playing games in the Pyramid Playground, visiting the barber’s shop, the toy shop and the jewelry shop in the Marketplace. We’ll meet Joseph in person each day and find out where he goes on his journey.

So save the dates in 19 July- 23 July. 9:30 - Noon To register and volunteer use the link below.

Servanthood

Acolytes
Beginning in 4th grade, boys and girls are invited to become acolytes.  This important ministry gives children the opportunity to serve during Sunday morning worship, at funerals and weddings and all other major worship events in the life of Trinity.

Heifer International
We believe our children have a great capacity for understanding and compassion. With that in mind, the children participate in an international project raising money to buy animals for families in developing countries. Heifer animals (and training in their care) offer hungry families around the world a way to feed themselves and become self-reliant. Children receive nutritious milk or eggs; families earn income for school, health care and better housing.

Thank you to all those who gave and worked so hard to achieve our goal of raising $5,00 for Heifer International during the last school year.

We were able to donate a Gift Ark which is helping to change the world two by two.
