Sunday, April 15th marked the beginning of the Ruth & Naomi Chapter of the Daughters of the King for Trinity Episcopal Church.Sheryl Sims, Province III Vice President presented the Charter for the Ruth & Naomi Chapter along with the installation of our very first Daughters of the King at Trinity: Cindy Brookshire, Susan Campbell, Margaret Wheeler and Pat Younts.  We would like to thank everyone for their prayers for this exciting time at Trinity. We thank the Lord for all of the hearts and hands that made this day so very special, especially the Campbell family for the wonderful reception after the service.

The Daughters of the King is an Order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, or churches in communion with it, or churches who are in the Historic Episcopate.  Members undertake a Rule of Life, incorporating the Rule of Prayer and the rule of Service.  By reaffirmation of the promises made at Confirmation, a Daughter pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish.
