Trinity
Changebell Ringers

The Handbell Choir
rings "tunes" and "melodies" but the Changebell Ringers
ring a very different form of music. The music of Changebell ringing is
in "methods" and "patterns." The effect is like that
of towerbells that peal. (Because that's how it started.)
This is the type of bell ringing that is still done in bell towers all across
England, and a few places in the US. As Trinity only has one bell in our
bell tower, we do our change ringing on handbells (which was popular during
WWII in England).

The Changebell
Ringers are open to anyone in the parish who is free on Thursday Mornings.
We're a group who come together for Fun, Fellowship and praising God through
music. Previous experience and reading music are helpful, but not
necessary, we are more than happy to teach you. If you've ever thought
"That looks like fun," or "I think I could do that,"
feel free to just show up for a rehearsal, or talk to Kevin (our music
director) after the 8:30 or 11:00 service.
Rehearsals:
Thursday Mornings, 10 - 11am, in the basement
Rings:
Quarterly and for Festival Eucharists
