What
Does Trinity Labyrinth Project Do?
The primary focus of Trinity Labyrinth Project has been to offer
alternative and different styles of prayer, aiding in an alternative way
to spiritual healing. Walking the labyrinth is an
activity that involves the entire body in the prayer process, in doing
so walkers create a balance and connection that brings mind, body and
soul together. As individuals we all have our own
unique ways in which we communicate and connect with God and the
presence of God that dwells within. Trinity Labyrinth
Project builds a community that nurtures, encourages, creates, and
offers a way to experience God in creative and different ways that meet
our spiritual needs where we are as our spirituality and spiritual needs
are unique for each person. The labyrinth is a tool that provides a
short amount of quiet, quality time to meditate, pray and experience God
on a different level extending our Sunday Morning Corporate Worship
experiences into other facets of our everyday lives all week long.
Trinity Labyrinth Project offers various ways to pray, based on
contemplative, centering and meditative prayer. The Labyrinth provides a
time and safe place to take a “time out” from the hectic schedules
of our lives for a quiet moment of prayer, renewal and refreshment of
the heart and soul within.
Trinity
Labyrinth Project has continued to focus on community outreach and
building community awareness about the labyrinth experience to others in
both the religious the non-religious sector. This has
been done primarily by renting the labyrinth out to organizations and
church groups. Often labyrinth rentals include a
member of Trinity Labyrinth Project traveling with the labyrinth giving
orientations, presentations and fielding questions from walkers, to
bringing along our gift shop items to accompany a walk or a labyrinth
event.
Our
growing ministry needs more help! We are looking for new additions to
our support team-members who help set up and take down the labyrinth for
walks. For more
information and details contact Christina
