Music
As Episcopalians we have inherited the broadest collection of music in Christianity. Here at Trinity you will only find the Hymnal 1982 in the pews, but our service bulletin nearly always contains music drawn from other Supplemental Sources offered by the Episcopal Church as well as other sources.
In welcoming all to the celebration, we also welcome all styles and expressions that lead us to a deeper worship experience. On any given Sunday we may sing a traditional hymn, plainchant from the fifth century, gospel piece, Taizé refrain, or contemporary song (to name a few possibilities). Regardless of the style or period from which our music is drawn, we strive to provide music of respect and dignity. Our music choices for the Sunday are based from the Lectionary Readings appointed for the day as well as the Liturgical Season. If you have a talent that you would like to share with God and the congregation, come and talk with Eric Dombrowski our Director of Music! Regardless of your background or skill level, if you are willing to invest the time and dedication that such a ministry requires, there is a place for you in the music program at Trinity Church. Come sing with us or play the handbells under the direction of Gail Sander. Or both! Director of Music Eric Dombrowski eric@trinityepiscopalchurch.org |
