Common Questions for Newcomers
Where are you located?
Describe your congregation.
We are an open and affirming, welcoming, searching, spiritually pondering community. We come from all walks of life, from different points of view, from very young to wise elder. We may not be your grandmother's church, but we might be the church you've been praying for. We are all on a spiritual journey, walking each other home, as we learn how to be the Body of Christ in a hurting world.
Is Trinity welcoming to all backgrounds?
Yes, we are an open and affirming community that embraces people of all races, genders, and orientations. Our focus is on building a supportive and inclusive spiritual family. Our CommunityWhat can I expect during a Sunday service?
8:30 AM Holy Eucharist/Sermon/Music
Maybe you are feeling a need to worship with young and old alike or the need for music and laughter, this time of worship has it all. Bryan says, "I LOVE the 8:30 worship...I get music, sermon, the whole shebang and I have the whole rest of the day ahead of me!"
11:00 AM Holy Eucharist/Sermon/Music/Choir
We gather to worship, welcoming every age group. We find ourselves praying, laughing, singing and enjoying the sermons! Rob & Jenn say, "Sunday is our morning to sleep in, have a double latte, read the news and we are still not late for a great morning at Trinity!"
Do I need to dress up?
Come as you are - we do! We remember what it felt like to walk into a new church and we want you to feel genuinely welcomed in this place. Some of us dress up in our Sunday best and others do not. We are a rainbow of God's people in discipleship together.

Voices from Our Community

Enter our doors and be greeted by a warm smile, outreaching hand and a community that welcomes and loves everyone regardless of who you may be. We worship, hug, laugh and cry as we uplift one another just as Jesus does for all. And after service stay for the fellowship and those warm, aromatic and delicious fresh-baked cookies.
Trinity has been an important part of my life since I was first welcomed into this congregation. I have been supported through the formation of intimate relationships, raising a family, and the challenges that life brings. Trinity has called me to discover and trust new strengths and embrace opportunities for service through community engagement and outreach ministries. Trinity remains a vital part in my spiritual growth, and life in the Manassas community.
